As of August, 2016, with Part 107B Certification, there have been a number of ongoing regulations regarding the flying of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in the United states. proper authorization from the FAA and ground permits are required before anyone is permitted to fly UAVs commercially. Just last year through this year alone, many changes have been made that effected the future of uAV’s. Now Remote ID!
At Dynamic Aero Drone Systems, Inc., founded in April of 2017, all our pilots are issued with a FAA Part 107B certification and are insured by Global Aerospace Insurance Company. This certification and insurance allows us to gather images in areas of the United States and its territories. We then deliver them to our clients.
About Dynamic Aero Drone Systems, Inc. leadership: John G. Cohan, is the President and senior pilot for DADS. John has been a member of the Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA) Since 2000. He is a certificate holder with a sUAS Certificate of Registration for all his aircraft. John’s credentials also include being a Certified FAA sUAS Remote Pilot in Command (Part 107), Civil Air Patrol sUAS Mission Pilot, sUAS Technician, Search and Rescue Officer and Emergency Services Training Officer. John is also TSA approved and completed FEMA ICS-100b, 300, 200c, 700b, 800d, & 05a Independent Study Course. John is currently the AUVSI Empire State Chapter president with contacts across the state and the nation.
